In August 2026 Colombia signed Law 2628, known as the Ley TEA. Since then, many autistic people, families and teachers have been asking what it means in practice. "From invisibility to full citizenship: Q&A on Colombia's autism law (Ley TEA)" is not a closed lecture: it is a space for the community to ask directly. You don't need to know about law; just bring your questions. Some you could ask:
- How do I apply for the Single Certificate, and what is it for?
- What changes at school and university?
- What support is there to find and keep a job?
- What can I do if my health insurer (EPS) does not comply?
- What support do families and caregivers get?
How to take part
The session is on Saturday, November 14 at 2:45 p.m. (Colombia time): 1:45 p.m. in Mexico City, 3:45 p.m. in Venezuela, 4:45 p.m. in Argentina and 8:45 p.m. in Madrid. It is held in Spanish.
