Who is Joy Trechi
Trechi is Venezuelan, born and raised in Venezuela, with more than 17 years of experience in demand planning and supply chain management at major global corporations, across markets including Venezuela, Latin America and Travel Retail Americas. She is the mother of a neurodivergent child, and that personal experience is what drove her to turn her corporate career toward inclusion.

DiverShines describes itself as more than a platform: it's a community that helps neurodivergent people monetize their talent, connect with opportunities, and access products and services made by and for the neurodivergent community. Among its initiatives: an online store with products made by neurodivergent people, a podcast on autism and entrepreneurship, educational articles and resources, and “Topshines,” a video series featuring neurodivergent professionals. Her talk at the 4th Asperger World Meeting 2026, “From Talent to Opportunity: entrepreneurship and economic autonomy for the neurodivergent community,” previews the focus of her work at DiverShines: turning the talent of a neurodivergent person — often invisible to the traditional job market — into real income and economic independence, whether through entrepreneurship or access to formal employment. It's a natural continuation of what María Auxiliadora Ramírez raised in earlier editions about employment inclusion and what Adriana Crostley raised about the environment as a disabling factor, this time with economic autonomy as the concrete goal.
