Rafael Jorreto Lloves is president of the Spanish Asperger Confederation (CONFAE) and of the Federación Asperger Andalucía, with more than 24 years of activism and experience in the Asperger movement in Spain, which he co-founded. He is considered one of the most important references of the Asperger movement in the Spanish-speaking world.

He has addressed the Spanish Senate and the Disability Committee of the Congress of Deputies to raise visibility on the social, educational, healthcare and employment barriers this population faces, and to call for official recognition of psychosocial disability in Asperger syndrome.
