Eva García Socias

Profile

Eva García Socias is an Asperger woman diagnosed in adulthood, with ADHD and high abilities. She is secretary of Asperger España (CONFAE), president of Asperger Baleares and an advocate for the rights of autistic people, and has addressed the Spanish Senate and Congress of Deputies. Drawing on her experience and her path in the advocacy movement, she is especially committed to making the reality of Asperger women visible. At the Meeting she will present the Asperger Women’s Observatory, a space to gather their experiences, needs and proposals, build knowledge about their reality and bring it to public administrations and policymakers, with the aim of helping improve public policy and advance the defense of their rights.
