The 4th Asperger World Meeting: two free days online to move "from invisibility to full citizenship"

On November 14–15, 2026, the 4th Asperger World Meeting brings together Asperger, autistic and cognitively diverse people, families and specialists from the Spanish-speaking community in a free online event. It is organized by Asperger para Asperger. This year's theme is "Asperger's: from invisibility to full citizenship".

The program has 16 confirmed speakers from Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Spain, the United States and Venezuela. They cover rights, mental health, family, education, employment and technology, and many talks are given by autistic people speaking in the first person. Among them:

The Meeting starts at 9:00 a.m. Colombia time (UTC-5) and is held in Spanish. The recordings will have English translation. The site also has a virtual Exhibition Center with stands from community organizations and initiatives.

"For years, many Asperger people have grown up unseen and unheard. This Meeting exists to change that: so our community can speak in the first person and its rights become real, in every country."

— Orlando Javier Jaramillo Gutiérrez, founder of Asperger para Asperger

This is the fourth edition, after 2022, 2023 and 2024, whose talks you can watch for free on the site.
